Twenty years of life, of which only 6 or 7 might be conscious, are not enough for a person to decide what to do with one’s adult life
- Nejat Ezal |
I am a melancholy fool, with the aspirations of a jester. - Nejat Ezal |
Nejat elected to attend Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA, where he further formulated his philosophy of life, learning to mingle work and play. He was a proctor his senior year and on the judicial board. He graduated with a Bachelors in Engineering in 1991. |
Nejat used to swim at the neighboring Claremont Colleges. He was instrumental in raising enthusiasm for building a student activity center on the Harvey Mudd College campus. When the Linde Activity Center was completed, the entrance hall was dedicated to Nejat. A plaque on the wall commemorates him and includes one of his thoughts: |
Remind me at anytime (even if I’m sober) to be honest. - Nejat Ezal |
The competitive spirit is beneficial only as long as it does not interfere with the possibility of friendship - Nejat Ezal |
I am no longer the same person as the individual who originally arrived here at HMC, just as the person who ends this sentence will not be the same as the one who began it - Nejat Ezal |
I once awoke and thought I might take the day seriously. I was mistaken. - Nejat Ezal |
