Am I good looking?
I don’t know, but the more people I fall in love with,

Nejat spent 6 weeks after graduation backpacking across Turkey and Europe.  Although he traveled by himself, he was never alone.  He made friends wherever he went, and seemed to leave a girlfriend in every country.
Human relations are more important than any career or obsession.

Iraq: America’s supposed goals and desires – international order, stability - are laudable.  The reality, however, is much more complex.  The economic, ethnic and religious conflicts in the region will only be aggravated by the U.S. interference.   America’s weakness is not its military capability, but it’s unrealistic desire to extend its political and cultural beliefs upon others at an entirely unjustified pace.

to immerse oneself in the companionship of friends,
to attempt to understand the intricate rhythm of life,
from the minuscule to the immense –
that is the 'walkabout'
